Use a variety of techniques effectively to provide supportive detail in writing (snapshot, similes/metaphors, explosions, and dialogue)
You step up to the tee box, placing the tee in the ground. You set the ball on top of it then step back and take a few swings. You line up your feet and club towards the direction it needs to go. Once you have everything set you stay focused, keep your head down and hit. Then after the ball is it you look up and watch it fly through the air to where its going to land.

i think this a good snapshot. it explains and helps you picture what exactly is going on and what the writing is about to be about. its at the beginning of my golf writing and it sets up the whole writing. i pictured what i do and put it into words.
